Aaaaaanyway, first rly. finished CG NOT school-related in a loooong arse time. This one started as a spontaneous gift sketch for ~dragonboy-mt, once inspired by some oekaki piece I saw. which made me want to so a piece with some kind of perspective like this.

The brushes used in the clouds I downloaded from *redheadstock, which are available here on DA in their gallery.

The water was almost done completely with a 3-pizel brush, me changing the color from time to time.

Yes, this is the biggest version there is. Like I said, it just started out as a sketch, i began coloring it zoomed in at 200% and didn't even realize it, so I just colored the whole thing..small. Something I should try to avoid in the future, I suppose.

Which makes me just want to say: Art talent/skill is more than just practice, you have to observe OTHERS and study OTHERS, and it will just absorb in. And referencing helps. I referenced some skies for coloring the sky in, same with the water, though both are very abstracted.

Both characters belong to ~dragonboy-mt. SEXY THEY ARE!!! Oh ho ho.
